Pastor Hines is the Lead Pastor of The Church of Adullam, St. Louis, Mo.
Pastor Hines has a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Applied Behavioral Science from National Louis University and a Masters of Arts in Theological Studies from Covenant Theological Seminary. Pastor Hines philosophy of ministry is rooted in 1 Corinthians 9:22, which says “I have become all things to all people that by all possible means, I might save some.” To that end, under the leadership of Pastor and First Lady Hines, The Church of Adullam is the recipient of two community service awards from The City of Overland in (2016-2017). With a heart that extends far beyond the church walls. Pastor Hines is a bi- vocational pastor. He leads the Criminal Justice program at North Technical High School. Graced by God with the gift to inspire young hearts and minds, Pastor Hines is a six-time award winning teacher. His honors include the Witherspoon Award (2016), Special School District Teacher of the Year (2019), Emerson Excellence in Teaching Award (2019), Keys to the Classroom Award (2019), Missouri Regional Teacher of the Year (2020) and is one of seven finalists for the (2021) Overall State of Missouri Teacher of the Year.
Pastor Clarence Hines is a retired Sergeant with the St. Louis Metro Police Department where he served for 21 years as a commissioned officer and retired April 9, 2012. In retirement from the police department, Pastor Hines continues to serve officers as a St. Louis Police Department Police Chaplain. Pastor Hines is the author of the book “Faith behind the Blue Wall...Finding Gods love in Law Enforcement”.
Pastor Hines has been married to his beautiful wife Julia Hines for 25 years. They have two adult children Clarence Jr. and Jessica and reside in Florissant, Mo.
