Pastor Clarence Hines
Pastor Hines is the Lead Pastor of The Church of Adullam, St. Louis, Mo.
Pastor Hines has a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Applied Behavioral Science from National Louis University and a Masters of Arts in Theological Studies from Covenant Theological Seminary. Pastor Hines philosophy of ministry is rooted in 1 Corinthians 9:22, which says “I have become all things to all people that by all possible means, I might save some.” To that end, under the leadership of Pastor and First Lady Hines, The Church of Adullam is the recipient of two community service awards from The City of Overland in (2016-2017). With a heart that extends far beyond the church walls. Pastor Hines is a bi- vocational pastor. He leads the Criminal Justice program at North Technical High School. Graced by God with the gift to inspire young hearts and minds, Pastor Hines is a six-time award winning teacher. His honors include the Witherspoon Award (2016), Special School District Teacher of the Year (2019), Emerson Excellence in Teaching Award (2019), Keys to the Classroom Award (2019), Missouri Regional Teacher of the Year (2020) and is one of seven finalists for the (2021) Overall State of Missouri Teacher of the Year.
Pastor Clarence Hines is a retired Sergeant with the St. Louis Metro Police Department where he served for 21 years as a commissioned officer and retired April 9, 2012. In retirement from the police department, Pastor Hines continues to serve officers as a St. Louis Police Department Police Chaplain. Pastor Hines is the author of the book “Faith behind the Blue Wall...Finding Gods love in Law Enforcement”.
Pastor Hines has been married to his beautiful wife Julia Hines for 25 years. They have two adult children Clarence Jr. and Jessica and reside in Florissant, Mo.
First Lady, Julia Hines
Julia Hines is a wife, the proud mother of two adult children, and an ambassador for Jesus Christ. In 2015, she planted The Church of Adullam with her husband Pastor Clarence Hines where she is a true servant at heart. She is a graduate of Lindenwood University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications in 2016. Graduating with honors, she was also inducted into the National Honor Society, Alpha Sigma Lambda. This accomplishment inspired The Adullam Excellence in Education Scholarship (2017) to encourage young adults to pursue higher education and follow their dreams. She accepted the call to preach the good news of Jesus Christ in June 2019 and was licensed that same year. She’s particularly passionate about women, seniors, and young adults, encouraging and empowering them to be all that God has created them to be and reminding them that they matter, they are great, and they belong! These passions, by God’s grace and much prayer, birthed the Women of Worth (2015) and The Powder Room (2020) ministries. First Lady Hines loves all of God’s people and is always eager to provide help, hope, and healing to all.
Loyce Miller
Lead Minister
Loyce Miller a native of St. Louis, MO has been serving the Lord for 25+ years. A mother of 3 beautiful children, and Nammy to her handsome grandson. Loyce as a licensed Cosmetologist, has used God's gift of her anointed hands to inspire women and men whom have crossed her path. Called to ministry December 2017, she has been dedicated for leading the lost for Jesus Christ.
Currently serving as lead minister at the Church of Adullam, aside Pastor Clarence Hines Sr, she warms all with her infectious smile, joyous heart and ability to love all people. In addition to her lead minister duties, Loyce is currently serving as Praise and Worship Leader, Director of education and a member of the Pastoral Care Team. Loyce is also currently pursing a degree in Christian Counseling to enhance her ability to lead God's people to healing in their mind, body and soul.
Lashona McGrew-Jones
Executive Minister of Administration
LaShona McGrew-Jones currently serves as the Church Administrator and oversees Finance, Media and other special projects as assigned. She and her Husband, Charles Jones have three sons, Kevon, Raymond and Charles II, 1 daughter-in-law, Kyla and soon to be “Nana” November 2020!
She was called to Minister and licensed in 2019, and currently serves as the Executive Minister. LaShona has a passion to serve others and lives by Christ’s example to love everyone. She has worked in the Property Management industry for 20+ years and has been instrumental working within teams to transform former public housing developments into thriving Mixed Income Communities.
Her favorite Motto is "A person's start does not determine their finish."
Samantha Watkins
Executive Assistant to Pastor Clarence Hines Sr.
Samantha has been a member of the Church of Adullam since 2017. She has recently embarked on motherhood and is a mother to one adorable son. Samantha is heavily involved in many areas within the church. In addition to being the Executive Assistant to Pastor Hines, she is the Co - lead to the media team and is a part of the finance team.
Samantha has a Bachelor's in Marketing from the University of Central Missouri and two Master Degrees from Webster University in Management and Leadership & Human Resource Management.
Samantha is a cheerful giver and loves helping others. Her heart inspires others to be just as good and live as Christ would want them to live.
